Genell is an avid outdoor enthusiast, adventurer and seeker. She actively engages in contemplative practices and continually quests towards deeper self-knowledge, healing, and fulfillment.
She specializes in treating individuals and families with trauma histories, anxiety, and depression, or those on a path towards greater awareness and life fulfillment. Her approach hybridizes her various trainings while focusing on somatic integration and a depth-oriented perspective. Perceiving psychotherapy through the depth-oriented lens works to understand the roots of an issue while building greater awareness, resiliency and capacity. In addition, she believes that our deepest pains and struggles can provide us with a doorway towards our greatest opportunities for growth. Each of us has the answers within us, yet sometimes we need a practiced guide to help us along our path.
She has a warm and engaging style, and is passionate about helping people find their innate truth.
Genell moved from her home on the Big Island to the mountains of Taos, New Mexico and the land of Enchantment. She sees clients from both Hawaii and New Mexico online.
