Everyone has the inherent potential to be happy, healthy, successful and thrive. At times, the stress of life can get in the way of our ability to reach our potential. The image of the lotus signifies the belief that we have the ability to transform our pain, hardship, trauma and suffering by acknowledging it, befriending it, and then growing as a result. Each of life’s challenge we endure provides us with the opportunity for greater connection, growth, and resiliency if we learn the tools to flip our script and perspective. At times, we can feel stuck in moments of pain or helplessness. Possibly we are repeating the same pattern that we want to pull away from. It is in these fragile times that we need to ask for help from a compassionate guide to assist us to navigate through.

Services

Genell provides online Individual, couple and family therapy within the state of Hawaii. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, eating disorders and body dysmorphia, grief, low self-worth, finding purpose and navigating life.

Genell also provides coaching services to clients throughout the country.

Mind-Body Therapies

Genell combines her clinical expertise as a Somatic Experiencing Pactitioner, and yoga teacher to help clients build greater emotional resiliency.

She is trained in both Brainspotting and EMDR therapies to further assist this aim to work through past trauma.

Depth Oriented Therapies

Genell integrates a Jungian Depth oriented framework to therapy. Through this lens we investigate dreams, utilize art therapy, and embark on other modalities to unearth the unconscious and find greater healing.
